In this paper, the appearance of insulating glass Water and gas sealing durability performance does not meet the standard requirements is described and analyzed.

1 Detection principle
The insulating glass water permeability index is expressed in i and lav as follows:
1= (Tf - Ti) / (Tc-Ti)
Formula: I-the water permeability index of a single insulating glass, 《0.25; the average value of the water permeability index of a lav- -5 insulating glass, 《0.20;
Tf-Final moisture content of desiccant of 5 insulating glass samples after tf-water seal durability test;
Ti-Average of the desiccant initial moisture content of four insulating glass samples;
Tc-Average of the standard water content of the desiccant from 2 hollow glass samples.
2 Detection procedures
Fifteen pieces of insulating glass of the size of 510 mmx360 mm, placed for 1 day in the test environment, numbered in the order of dew points from high to low; The desiccant of samples no. 1 and 15 does the standard moisture content test, and the desiccant of samples no. 7,8,9 and 10 does the initial moisture content test,Samples 4,5,6,11 and 12 went through 2 stages:
① for 56 cycles, and every 12 h for a temperature cycle, the temperature ranging from
18°C土2°C to 531°C±1°C,The lifting temperature rate is 14 °C/h±2 °C/h;
② temperature at 58 °C ±1°C, relative humidity>95% environment was maintained for 7 weeks, the final moisture content and moisture permeability index were calculated after removal from the test box.

In Figure
1 is the stage 1 high and low temperature cycle test; 2, the maximum time interval between moving the sample from stage 1 test box to stage 2 test box is 4h;
3 is the test of constant temperature and humidity in stage 2.
