insulating glass water and gas sealing durability performance (1)

2021-06-09 14:45

introduction

Hollow glass because of its good energy saving, noise reduction performance, in construction, transportation, refrigeration, application is more and more widely, but because of the hollow glass use need to face temperature changes, ultraviolet radiation, water in the atmosphere, acid, and the influence of harmful factors such as wind pressure, it is easy to aging, such as sealant failure problems, namely the failure of hollow glass. The gb / t 11944-2012 Hollow Glass, which was implemented on September 1,2013, clearly stipulates the service life of hollow glass, for no less than 15 years. How to ensure the service life of the hollow glass has become an important index of whether the hollow glass is qualified, and the main index of comprehensively examining the durability performance of the hollow glass is the water permeability index.

GB/T 11944—2012 After the implementation of "Hollow Glass",   the   national   mandatory product certification hollow glass is facing the requirements of standard   change. Since September 2013, the center has undertaken hundreds of hollow glass change testing, the main inspection items are: dew point, ultraviolet radiation resistance, water and gas sealing durability.Except for several dew points of hollow glass samples with no filling molecular sieve or little molecular sieve filling amount do not meet the standard requirements, the dew points of other hollow glass samples meet the standard requirements, and the dew points of most of the samples can reach-60 °c.The UV-resistant radiation performance also meets the standard requirements. The unqualified item is the durability of water and gas seal, and the index of water and gas sealing durability is the water permeability index, and about 30% of the hollow glass samples exceed the water permeability index.
